Psychotherapy Regulation via Fuzzy Analysis and Feedback Tuning

Abstract

Psychotherapy is a complex course of therapy that the well-trained psychotherapists treat the mental and behavior problem of the clients. Thus, it is a complex course that must consider a variety of fuzzy factors such as making diagnoses, determining the therapy method and regulating the therapy process. The fuzzy logic can be applied by helping to make diagnoses, and there are plenty of feedback loops in charge of regulating and advancing the therapy process. In this paper, we try to model and analyze the psychotherapy process by fuzzy logic and feedback tuning. Music desensitization therapy for dispelling communication apprehension is adopted to demonstrate the proposed method, and the treatment effect of 12 undergraduates by the same way was presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed approach. The control block of the psychotherapy course was also illustrated and analyzed in detail.
