Abstract

The dynamic Radar cross section (RCS) feature of ballistic missile target in its boost phase of flight is important, because it shows the missile' s dynamic characteristics which are the key to early detection and pre-warning. In this paper, a typical trajectory of the ballistic missile in the boost phase is simulated. A quasi-static method in conjunction with the Methods of Moment (MoM) algorithm is used to simulate dynamic RCS with the dynamic RCS features extracted.
