Abstract

This paper presents a fiber optic sensor for the measurement of magnetic field. The sensor is based on fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and Terfenol-D material. We use simulation software Ansys and Comsol Multiphysics to verify the feasibility of this sensing system. The simulation process is demonstrated.
