The researcher used a questionnaire as a tool for data collection. Same as convenient available sampling method used to select Sample. The sample size remained 203, in which; 71.9 percent of participants agreed that girls idealize Instagram life and 62.5 percent called it a threat to social values and norms while 54.2 percent of participants disagreed with feelings of depression after watching the lifestyle content of others. Data supported the concept of uses and gratification theory, which is used as the theoretical framework.
