In this paper, we propose a novel rate-distortion optimized video frame dropping scheme, where the frame concealment pattern is dynamically determined according to the side information sent along with video data. The output of the proposed frame dropping scheme contains not only an optimal frame dropping pattern, but also a frame concealment pattern. Abstract
