دراسة لأحد الطرز النقدیة للإمبراطور هادریانوس (من خلال نشر قطعتین نقدیتین من المتحف المصرى بالقاهرة)

Abstract

یتناول هذا البحث دراسة إصدار نقدى محدد من عصر هادریانوس، الذى سک فى دار ضرب مدینة الإسکندریة، وتهتم الدراسة بنشر قطعتین من النقود، کلتاهما محفوظ فى المتحف المصرى بالقاهرة، حیث قدمت الدراسة البیانات الخاصة بهما بالإضافة إلى الوزن بالجرام، ویمکن تأریخ هاتین القطعتین بدقة إلى العام 127-128م طبقا لنقش الظهر، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفی، أما من الناحیة التصویریة، فقد ظهر هادریانوس على وجه النقود متوجا بالغار وملتحیا، طبقا لأسلوب تصویره فى الفن الرومانى، ولاتزال لحیة هادریانوس ودلالتها الحضاریة مثار جدل بین الدارسین، کما اهتمت الدراسة بطابع الظهر أیضا، حیث تظهر إیوثینیا متکئة على أبى الهول، وهو ما یمکن تتبعه فى الفن الهلینستى. Abstract:           This research deals with studying a specific monetary issue in the Hadrianic age, which was minted in Alexandria city. The study is concerned with publishing two pieces of coins; both are kept in the Cairo Egyptian Museum, where informative data are presented in addition to the weight in grams. The two pieces are certainly dated back to 127-128 AD according to the reverse inscription. The research depended on the descriptive methodology,  ichnographically; in which the obverse shows Hadrianus with corona laurea and beard according to the standard roman styles. The Hadrian beard and its cultural significance are much debated among scholars. The reverse type is stressed as well where Euthenia is leaning against Andro-Sphinx, which is traceable back in Hellenistic art.
