Abstract

The practice of sports shows that in the sports of high athletic achievements, the result of the wrong choice of sports has a serious impact on the socialization process of the athlete. The wrongly chosen sports cause the indifferent attitude of young athletes to sports, which in turn results in a large number of children and long-term abandonment, which leads to their Stopping the growth of individual sports achievements. The relevance of the work is determined by the insufficient development of the question of the influence of personal characteristics on the choice of a sport, there are no theoretically justified methods for determining the character and personal characteristics of adolescents involved in sports, and their inclination to a particular sport.
