Abstract

This paper presents a robust control process of three-phase grid connected photovoltaic system. The system consists of a photovoltaic PV panel, DC link, filter and a three phase inverter connected to the grid. The control objective is to ensure stability and robustness of the closed-loop system, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of PV module, minimization of total harmonic and reach unity power factor in the grid.A comparison between two tuning methods for PI controller shows the improvement in the performance of the grid connected PV system.
