Abstract

In order to solve the obstruction of shortwave communication, we studied the effects of the solar flare to the shortwave communication and its reason on the basis of up-to-date experimental data. We discussed theoretically the refractive index of radio wave in the ionosphere and the rule of the wave propagation of the radio communication in detail and presented the formula for skip distance calculation.
