Modeling of Price Consequences in the Competitive Electricity Market in Russia with the Intensive Development of Non-Carbon Power Plants

Abstract

The article considers approaches to modeling the relationship between electric power production structure and prices at a competitive electricity market for different scenarios of nuclear power and renewable energy development. The estimates of changes in spot prices obtained on the basis of a dual solution to the problem of optimal dispatching of the load of power plants are presented.
