Abstract

In Optical Network-on-Chip (ONoC), both routing and wavelength assignment have an impact on the Optical Signal-to-Noise (OSNR), which further influence the power efficiency and scalability. In this work, we propose a multidimensional Integrated RWA method based on the fuzzy logic system (named as I-RWA) which considers routing and wavelength assignment. OSNR, traffic distribution, waiting delay and wavelength utilization are taken into consideration at the same time. The effect of wavelength assignment on OSNR is also discussed.
