Abstract
This paper presents an initiative high density design for low profile adapter with medium or low output power. The high frequency quasi-resonant flyback converter with synchronous rectification helps to decrease the whole volume 21% compared with the current smallest product level design. The detailed design consideration is presented and performance is validated by an experimental universal-input off-line 19V/3.42A flyback prototype.
