Abstract

In this paper we study uplink open loop power control (OLPC) optimization for co-channel Heterogenous Network (HetNet) scenarios with macro and pico cells under fractional load conditions. Two methods for automatic OLPC optimization are proposed, motivated and compared against manual approach.
