Abstract How do we best organize the education of those aspiring to become philosophical counselors? Are the skills that we require from such a counselor teachable? If so, how do we teach them? The author reflects upon these questions based on experiences gathered in the Norwegian educational program for philosophical counselors..1 Along with this, the author will also discuss some theoretical considerations central to the questions just raised.
