Abstract
A feature of thermal converters based on the pyroelectric effect is their reaction exclusively to a change in the intensity of the radiation flux incident on them. Therefore, for many applications of pyroconverters, the key point is their dynamic characteristics, which are estimated from the transient processes of pyrodetectors. On the basis of a mathematical model of a pyroelectric converter, a simulator of its temporal characteristics has been developed, which makes it possible to study the transient processes of both designed pyrodetectors and, if necessary, determine the parameters of already manufactured products.
