The power-dissipation and temperature-rise measurements are made when rated current was passed through the fuse carrier. The temperature of various parts of the fuse-link has been measured using thermocouples: the results are within the limits set by several international standards. The upper limit of the results obtained by the power-dissipation measurements is around 110 W.
