Abstract

In the electrical vehicle, the double rotor motor DRM is used as an electrical variable transmission which eliminates the drawbacks of the mechanical gearbox. However, it major disadvantageous is related to the control algorithm. This is due to the coupled magnetic field between the wound rotor and the stator. In this paper, a mathematical decoupling algorithm is presented for applying the vector control strategy. The simulation results are presented and discussed.
