Erstmanifestation einer Migräne als akuter Verwirrtheitszustand - „Confusional Migraine” und diagnostische Probleme

Abstract

: We report on a 11-year-old girl with a first migrainous attack presenting as a confusional state. The diagnosis was made after the acute episode had subsided. Other conditions as encephalitis or space occupying lesions must be ruled out. We discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic consequences.
