In order to reduce efficiently noise radiation it is necessary to calculate power plant acoustic characteristic. Software was developed allowing calculate sound transmission and radiation in pipelines of power plants by using of discrete-time model. Simulation of sound propagation in pipeline is carried out by using of wide number of acoustic elements (source, emitter, conductor etc.). By using of the software it is possible to calculate the efficiency of noise reduction by using visualization instruments (sound spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope etc.) in set up control points.
