Abstract

Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are the best thermal energy storage materials. The waste warm liquid from power plants is directly sent to seas or rivers, which causes heat wastage and results in the death of aquatic life. To avoid this problem, the waste warm water from the power plants can be used for industries by using PCMs. The present research proposed to use this water for fish farms. The design to store the latent heat of PCMs was done in AUTOCAD, and the experiment result showed the successful use of waste warm water from the origin to destination.
