In the operational process mass fraction of water in oil contributory to the increase of wear debris amount grows because of different reasons. As a result, motor oil dielectric permittivity changes, that in its turn permits to estimate indirectly remaining life of cylinder-piston group in internal combustion engines of transport and transport-technological machines. The research was carried out on transport and transport-technological machines exploited in Omsk region.
