Management of headache in pregnancy and during lactation

Abstract

In this continuing education article, the authors provide an overview of the assessment, diagnosis, and considerations for the treatment of primary headaches during pregnancy and lactation, with an emphasis on balancing risks and benefits when determining needed pharmacologic treatment and preventive measures.
