Abstract

The paper is deal with to monitoring the course of stress using experimental optical method PhotoStress and FEM analysis. The experiment was performed on the clutch pedal Tatra 815 coated with photosensitive coating to observe level of stresses and for locating critical areas. These stresses could leads to its failure. For full field analysis was use the PhotoStress method. The PhotoStress method is an experimental method used to determine the principal deformations and principal normal stresses using a photoelastic coating [2].
