Abstract

This is an introduction to the special session hosted by the IEEE EMC society representative advisory committee on EMC and type approval requirements for wireless devices. This session provides an overview of the current and some of the proposed EMC and type approval requirements for devices such as spread spectrum, cellular phones and PCS.
