Abstract
This paper examines issues associated with transceiver parameters under lognormally distributed industrial noise. The paper analyzes the effect on transceiver parameters of normally distributed noise and lognormally distributed noise. In this case, we consider the power values of both distributed noises to be equal. This paper demonstrates that, under lognormally and normally distributed industrial noise, transceiver properties become worse, and the probability of incorrect tag identification increases. However, to increase the probability of correct tag identification, transceiver properties must be adjusted. Despite that, energy loss occurs, leading to a decrease in the probability of successful tag identification. This study provides analytically derived expressions and related graphs for calculating such energy loss. These calculations use a fixed value of the incorrect identification probability and help compensate for energy loss. Therefore, a given level of correct tag identification probability can be achieved.
