The basic trends in the development of the tourist market have been studied. It is concluded that today the majority of tourists use the resources of the Internet when organizing travel. The basic trends in the development of the tourist services market over the past few years were reviewed, highlighting the main aspects. The tendency of diversification of the tourist business and expansion of the product offer due to direct online distribution has been noted.The main driver of the development of the tourist market was the change in consumer behavior of tourists and their “movement” into the Internet space. An important trend is the increasing interest of tour operators to the B2C segment with the simultaneous offer of services for direct online distribution on corporate sites. This article analyzes the main technological drivers of changes in the market of tourist services that have occurred recently.
