Abstract

Due to the increasing digitalization of the business environment and resulting changes in the market structure, firms are questioning if their current organizational structures align to the upcoming challenges [9]. Organizational structures have to align to the firm’s strategy [2] and provide the needed flexibility as well as adaptability to changes. Research has put forward the concept of organizational agility which can provide a more adaptable organizational structure [3]. However, research on this matter is still scare and in its infancy. With our research, we want to analyze how organizational agility can mediate the effects of organizational structure on project success and digital innovation.
