Abstract

The solution of the dynamic problem of the acoustic-emission field displacements in an elastic half-space generated by steady-state displacements of the surfaces of a circular cracks system is obtained. The solutions are obtained by the boundary integral equations (BIEs) method. For the case of mode III cracks, the dependences of elastic displacements on the surface of the half-space on the wave number, the number of defects and the depths of their location are analyzed.
