Abstract

The power loss of switching devices is a major source of heat in the main circuit of the converter. The loss of too many switching devices will lead to an increase in device temperature, a decrease in system performance and even a converter failure, so the estimation of the power loss of switching devices is very important. For the active neutral point clamped (ANPC) wind power converter based on IGCT, the numerical calculation model of the power loss of IGCT is first established, and then the simulation calculation model of the power loss of ANPC is established in this paper. Finally, the loss analysis of ANPC under different power factors, different current flow directions, different modulation strategies, and different switching frequencies is carried out to provide references for the selection of power electronic devices, the determination of switching frequency, and the design of heat dissipation.
基于IGCT的三级风电变流器损耗分析
