Abstract

In order to study the seismic performance of masonry buildings with frame and seismic-wall in the lower stories, a serious damaged bottom frame structure in Wenchuan earthquake was taken as the research object in this paper, elasto-plastic time-history analysis and numerical simulation were carried out on the use of ABAQUS finite element software. On this basis, a series of different condition calculation models were designed to study on the influence of site classification on the seismic performance of bottom. The calculation results showed that: the reaction of bottom frame structure in site classification II and III was larger, and had serious damage, the reaction in site classification I and IV was smaller.
