Abstract

Usually the receiver of the global navigation satellite system is calibrated either a differential method or a simulator of the global navigation satellite system. The receiver differential calibration estimates the error of one receiver relative to another. For absolute receiver calibration uses simulator. Calibrating the receiver with a simulator gives the receiver instrumental pseudorange measurement error. Thus, the receiver pseudorange measurement error contains the simulator pseudorange generation error. The simulator pseudorange generation error of the navigation signal is due to the circuitry of the radio-frequency output and the shaper discreteness.
