Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Kualitatif, Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam femenologi, yaitu suatu penelitian yang mengungkapkan kejadian dengan kondisi sebenarnya. Pelaksanaan prima pada pelayanan Akademik dan kemahasiswa STAIN Teungku DIrundeng Meulaboh dengan mengunakan Langkah-langkah pelayanan Prima belum sepenuhnya bisa dikatakan efektif dan efisien. Sedangkan faktor pendorong pelaksanaan layanan administrasi akademik adalah tersedianya SDM sesuai dengan kompetensinya, adapun faktor penghambat pelaksanaan layanan adalah kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai sebagai pendukung sehingga bila dilihat dari segi waktu pelayanan kurang efektif dan kurang efisien. \nKata kunci: Efektivitas 1, Pelayanan Prima 2, Kemahasiswaan 3 \n \nAbstract \nTeungku Dirundeng Meulaboh State Islamic College (STAIN) in an effort to provide excellent service to the community or the academic community has carried out in accordance with the 5 Work Cultures of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Integrity, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility, Exemplary. This type of research is qualitative research. The approach used in phenomenology is a research that reveals events with actual conditions. The implementation of excellence in academic and student services at STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh by using the Prime Service Steps has not been fully effective and efficient.
