Abstract

A method named generalized bilingual teaching is proposed to solve the problems of traditional bilingual teaching in the universities of China. In generalized bilingual teaching Chinese textbooks is used, also many English elements are used as auxiliary, such as bilingual courseware and explanation, special English words, English references, English reading materials, English exercises and examination questions. The method is applied in the course of principles of computer organization. To confirm the effect of the method, an investigation questionnaire for generalized bilingual teaching is used and the answers are analyzed.
