Abstract

A strip line made on the basis of carbon fibers is investigated. The line is included in the interruption of an asymmetric strip line, and is implemented as a tape made of carbon fibers on a dielectric substrate. Experimental frequency and pulse characteristics are obtained. Simulation of the line in a quasi-T approach is carried out. Primary line parameters are obtained using the extraction method by comparing experimental and theoretical frequency and pulse characteristics.
