Early Aging in Bio-Cultural Perspectives: A Qualitative Analysis of District Multan

Abstract

This qualitative ethnographic study attempts to understand the biological and cultural causes of early aging, the problems generated due to nutrition, traditional and cultural values. This study involves 24 early aging respondents from three Union Councils of Multan city of south Punjab. The data were generated by conducting detailed face-to-face interviews with the participants. The study highlights the bio-cultural causes of early aging through thematic analysis. This study recommends that related institutions could play a significant role in educating the families to help reduce the issues of early aging people and care for them.
