Abstract

This article is about implementation by simplifying Electroencephalography (EEG) monitoring system, and combining tri-axis accelerometers and 3-lead Electrocardiography (ECG) to develop a ubiquitous sleep monitoring and awaking system. Also, the system helps users sleep deeper and wake up comfortably by neurofeedback networks. The neurofeedback networks basically consist of EEG and ECG sensors and tri-axis accelerometers with a System-on-Chip (SoC) design for real-time bio-signal analysis: Time-frequency domain analysis of heart rate variability (HRV).
