A competency based tool for measuring end-user information capability

Abstract

The measures for an end-user information competency are extracted from the components of a competency. A competency based tool that can measure an end-user information competency was presented with the measures. The validity and application of the developed tool is confirmed by two analyses and its applications to a case study.
