Our paper introduces a new virtual keyboard design, MT-TYPEHEX, which overcomes some of these limitations, increases the efficiency of human interaction with touch screens, and improves performance and productivity in cooperative work. After describing the MT-TYPEHEX, we will make a comparative study between a conventional virtual keyboard (QWERTY) and the MT-TYPEHEX keyboard by conducting experiments to evaluate their performance and error rates. We will also evaluate the user experience by administering questionnaires.
