Abstract

With the problem of congestion becoming more and more serious in data centers, a great deal of attention has been paid to the congestion control technology. In this paper, we first analyze and summarize the reasons that cause congestion in data center. Second, from the point of the network congestion control algorithm, the improvement of packet loss detection, the modification for transmission completion time, adjustment of transmission speed and fairness are discussed, respectively. Finally, we discuss the future work based on the current status of congestion control algorithms.
