Abstract

In this paper, we consider joint beamforming optimization for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) simultaneous information and power transfer (SWIPT) system. Our aim is to maximize the achievable security rate. However, this optimal problem is non-convex, so we exploit semi-definite relaxation (SDR) and the first-order Taylor approximation to transform the original non-convex problem into a new convex problem. Then the sub-optimal beamforming matrices were obtained by the SCA iterative algorithm and singular value decomposition method.
