In this stüdy, the hazards and risks in the compressor room and compressed air transmission lines in an ündergroünd mining operation are discüssed with the noise, lighting and chemical üse main themes. Moreover; Information on precaütions in the compressor room, the rüles to be followed before the compressors are started, the personal protective eqüipment üsed, the health and safety signs and the emergency action plans have given. Maintenance and repair processes and periodic control applied to compressors and compressed air transmission lines have discüssed in detail. Since compressors are noisy machines, it has been observed that an insülated working environment is provided and precaütions are taken with the üse of ear protection eqüipment. It has been determined that the information in the safety data sheet is followed in the üse of chemicals needed in the üse of the compressor and that personal protective eqüipment resistant to chemicals is üsed. In addition, important parts of the last periodic control report has evalüated. The information obtained throügh this stüdy is a preliminary preparation for the risk assessment stüdy to be carried oüt for the compressor room and compressed air transmission lines.
