Abstract
With the rapid development of society, modern power system is becoming larger and larger, and the operation mode is more and more complex as well. Occasional incidents may cause line outage, which sometimes leads to overload problems, and then endanger the stable operation of the system. Therefore, the safety assessment is of great significance to the safe operation of system, and prevention control should be taken to reduce the risk of system. In this premise, this paper proposes a risk-based rapid prevention control method of power system. With consideration of the line outage probability due to aging and the risk index of line outage, the risk assessment is introduced into the power system in the method. The risk assessment fills the insufficient of traditional safety assessment. On this basis, the DC power flow and the line outage distribution factor (LODF) are combined to establish a rapid prevention control model. The model reduces the number of optimization variables and constraints, and improves the computational efficiency. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified with simulation example.
