Abstract

Cable-stayed bridge without backstays has great architectural aesthetic feeling in bridge design, and embodies the perfect combination of force and beauty in bridge type. It has been built in landscape bridges all over the world. The shape of cable-stayed bridge without backstays determines that its stress characteristics are different from those of conventional cable-stayed bridges, and the key points of bridge design and construction control are also different. Taking a (30+120+40)m three-span cable-stayed bridge without backstays as an example, this paper introduces the design originality, structural layout and design features of the bridge, and analyzes the control points that should be paid attention to in bridge construction, which provides guidance for bridge construction.
