Synonymy in modern pharmaceutical terminology of Uzbek and English languages

Submitted: 27 March 2021 Revised: 18 April 2021 Accepted: 9 May 2021 The main goal of the article deals with descriptions and analyzes of synonyms, polysemy and neologisms in the terminology of the pharmaceutical industry in a comparative aspect. The place and role of synonymous and polysemantic words and neologisms in the pharmaceutical lexicon, the semantics and ambiguity of words when translating documents and literature on the practice of the field are given in practical forms.
