Samsung where are you going? [consumer electronics]

Abstract

In less than 60 years, Samsung has established itself as one of the leaders in the electronic world. From humble beginnings to ambitions of world-domination, the story of Samsung has everybody talking in the consumer electronics business. In this paper, the author discusses Samsung's company history as well as the company's road to success. As of now, Samsung's mobile phones account for more than 30% of its sales considering that the company only started selling the mobile phones in the mid 1990s. History will always remember Samsung as the first to produce a camera phone, a dual folder handset, a sliding one, an MP3 phone or a DMB device for the reception of satellite television.
