Abstract

Child marriage is a serious problem in Indonesia. Search engines and online social media have shown the dynamics of conversations about early marriage. One of the issues that went viral is the marriage of junior high school couple at Bantaeng, Sulawesi, in April, 2018. The massive conversations about child marriage have represented the significance of this research. Based on that background, this study focuses on mapping child marriage contents on new media.
