Ecological and environmental education and ecological awareness in the municipal library

Abstract

The results of 3-year joint efforts of Ecology and Earth Sciences Chair and Levoberezhye Municipal Library in ecological education are discussed. Within the core project EcoKnowledge, ecological lessons for schoolchildren and students, ecological quests, actions and exhibitions are held. The project was initiated in 2019. In the recent year, the project «SDGs through the students eyes» has been attracting attention of the visitors of the library’s mass media pages and presenting current information on sustainable development goals.
