Firstly, the overall framework of the carrier communication system is designed according to the practical application requirements of on-line detection of the cable intermediate joint, and the carrier communication system model of cable intermediate joint based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is built by using the Simulink platform for simulation analysis; On this basis, the carrier communication system is simulated in the laboratory to test the transmission performance of the system; Finally, the field communication experiment is carried out. The experimental results show that the carrier communication system can realize reliable data transmission in a complex environment by setting the baud rate, packet length, and adding parity check. The overall communication performance is good and the bit error rate (BER) is zero. Abstract
