Abstract

"Tile" technology is an important development trend in active phased array radar, which makes the array much lighter and thinner. Therefore, a high integration leads to an increase in electromagnetic interference between the electronic components in the system. In this work, a new "tile" active phased array antenna is shown and its signal integrity problem is studied. The potential problems of signal integrity and power integrity are explored including the principle, the proposed solutions, the verifications in simulation and experiment.
