Abstract
The Belt and Road Initiative has aroused global attention, and the Belt and Road countries' attitudes towards FDI became an important factor influencing their FDI attraction. Beginning with the Production Function, this study takes "the Belt and Road investment-friendly index" as the research objective, constructing an index system including six sub-indexes and 24 indicators, including human resource friendliness, financial service friendliness, macroeconomic environment friendliness, institutional environment friendliness, infrastructure friendliness and international communication friendliness. Research shows that the factors influencing the Belt and Road investment friendliness are financial services, institutional environment, human resources, infrastructure, macroeconomic and international exchanges sorted by its relative importance. Investors can either observe the investment-friendly index directly or examine the feasibility of investing in the Belt and Road countries from the above six perspectives. In turn, the Belt and Road countries can also attract foreign capital and bring about more FDI to strengthen these related fields according to their importance for the sake of promoting domestic economic prosperity. In the future, this study will further expand the scope of the index according to the actual progress, and adjust the relationship between various factors according to the actual situation.
